With time and budget tight, the client chose to build rather than install a container shelter. It paid off — more usable covered space, delivered faster and cheaper than the container option.

This firewood cover spans 18m x 14m across three 6m bays under a gable roof, rising from 5.5m eaves to a 7.74m apex at a 15-degree pitch. It's built on Futura Box-Beam rafters and purlins in high-durability galvanised steel, supported by H5-treated timber pole columns with H3.2-treated timber girts, and finished with 2.5m roof overhangs on both sides, excluding fascia cladding.
