Overview

Ormsby Trust needed a feedpad cover large enough to service a sizeable dairy operation. Aztech engineered and delivered the solution in partnership with Archway Group Ltd, supplying a 144m gable structure on the Futura Box-Beam system. The steep roof pitch was a key part of the design, optimising airflow through the building. The build was finished with colour cladding and a ridge vent running the full length of the roof apex.

Engineered for Airflow at Scale

Spanning 18 open bays with no internal columns, the structure gives Ormsby Trust uninterrupted coverage across the full 144m length. The ridge vent along the apex supports airflow through the building, while box gutters on both sides of the roof handle drainage across the 29m depth.

At this scale, feedpad covers play a central role in dairy infrastructure, supporting ventilation, feed access and weather protection across larger herds.
